How does one exhibit/display/disseminate a research art project on popular
culture?
By making it conducive to foyers, corridors, class rooms, streets… and then by
invading the museums.
Project Cinema City was a seven years long multi-scalar endeavor. It had grown, along with its multi-disciplinary research and productions, through regular public presentations and exhibitions. The exhibition, over the years, expanded with newer works and also by layering over the old works. The venues of the exhibition were sometimes regular gallery places, sometimes within a film festival, at other times in the corridors of the academic institutions or at the foyer of cinema halls and occasionally, on the streets.
